The Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts, has commenced the recruitment process for the Ordinary Grade Driver position in the Uttar Pradesh Circle. The application window for these positions is now open, and interested candidates can submit their applications until February 16, 2024.

The official notification is accessible on the website indiapost.gov.in, and applications must be sent strictly via registered post or speed post. There are a total of 78 driver positions available across various districts of Uttar Pradesh.

To be eligible for the India Post Office Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should hold a valid driving license for both light and heavy motor vehicles, along with a comprehensive understanding of motor mechanisms. Additionally, they must have completed the 10th standard from a recognized board or institute. Preferably, candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience as a Home Guard or Civil Volunteer.

Age Limit

Applicants should fall within the age bracket of 18 to 27 years. However, certain relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable for individuals belonging to OBC, SC/ST categories, Central Government Servants, and Ex-servicemen, as per government regulations.

The salary structure will adhere to the established rules and regulations of the position. Selected candidates for the India Post Office 2024 Recruitment will receive monthly remuneration along with additional allowances.
Driver: Rs. 19,900-63,200/- (7th CPC) [Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay-1900 under 6th CPC] + Applicable Allowances
