India Post Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 1,735 Gramin Dak Sevak Posts Before July 05

India Post, under the Ministry of Communications, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 1,735 vacancies to the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks to be posted at the Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand postal circles through direct recruitment. The online registration process towards the same starts from June 06, 2019 and closes on July 05, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks through India Post Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on June 06, 2019 and not be more than 40 years (Gen), with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC categories.

Candidates must remit a requisite amount of Rs. 100 (GEN/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode or Challan mode as detailed in the notification. However, SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Educational Criteria And Language Proficiency

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks through India Post Recruitment 2019 must have passed SSC/Class 10 or equivalent with English and Mathematics from a recognized Board/Institute.

Candidates must have command over local dialect of the circle/region they are applying for, and must have a Basic Computer Training Course (sixty-days duration) certificate from a recognized Computer Training Institute established by law. Applicants must have knowledge of cycling or must be able to ride scooter or motorcycle.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Gramin Dak Sevaks through India Post Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the marks obtained by the candidates' in SSC/Class10 or equivalent.

Candidates selected as Gramin Dak Sevaks will be paid a remuneration in the scale of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month.
