India Finance Conference 2013 at IIM Ahmedabad on 18th December

The Indian Institute of Management, Ahemdabad (IIMA) will organise the third India Finance Conference (IFC) 2013 from 18th to 19th December 2013. The inauguration ceremony will take place at Ravi J Matthai Auditorium, IIMA Main Campus.

The conference is being organised jointly by IIM-Ahemdabad, IIM-Bangalore and IIM-Calcutta. Nearly 100 academics, researchers, and practitioners from India and abroad are expected to present papers, during the two day event.

The inaugural address will be delivered by professor Ravi Jagannathan, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, John F Sandner professor of finance, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. This would be followed by keynote address on 'Getting Better -Learning to invest in an Emerging Stock Market' by professor Tarun Ramdorai, Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Professor Kose John, Charles William Gerstenberg professor of Banking and Finance, NYU Stern School of Business, New York University will deliver the keynote address on the topic 'Risk and Governance in Corporations and Banks.'

The event includes technical sessions on Asset Pricing, Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, Market Linkages, Market Microstructure Derivatives and Regulations.
