On August 28, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters as part of the 8th Rozgar Mela. Through video conferencing, the letters have been distributed to the newly hired officials and organizations.
In 45 different cities across the nation, the Rozgar Mela was hosted. The recruitment process for paramilitary troops has undergone a number of adjustments, according to Prime Minister Modi in his virtual address.

Rozgar Melas Are Being Organized By The Central Govt. And Some States/UTs
The central government and a few states/UTs have been working together to organize Rozgar Melas across the country as part of the Mission Recruitment project, which has led to the monthly distribution of employment offers to a large number of young people. The Ministry of Home Affairs organized the Rozgar Mela, which made it easier to hire people from a variety of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including the Delhi Police, CRPF, BSF, Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
These new hires, according to the official release, will serve the country by accepting positions within various CAPFs. These new hires, who were chosen from diverse regions of the nation, will work in a variety of departments within the Ministry of Home Affairs in roles including Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (GD), and Non-GD Cadre Posts.
DISCOVER NEW SKILLS
PM Modi urged paramilitary soldiers to maintain their desire to learn throughout their service in his speech to the Rozgar Mela. According to PM Modi, anything you learn in these courses would help you become a great officer. Additionally, he urged the new recruits to concentrate on their physical fitness and maintain it during their duty.
