IIT Palakkad Summer Internship 2025: Application Process, Eligibility, Benefits and more
IIT Palakkad is all set to offer a transformative six-week summer internship for both undergraduate and postgraduate students starting in May 2025. This program provides an exciting and immersive learning experience, allowing participants to dive into both hardware and software analysis tools, while exploring a wide range of research domains. This is a fantastic opportunity for students seeking hands-on research experience and a deeper understanding of their academic interests.
The internship is open to both Indian and international students. However, IIT Palakkad students, as well as foreign students studying in India, will be treated as Indian applicants. The deadline for submitting applications is March 18, 2025, with the program running from May 21 to July 2025.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is designed for:
- Postgraduate students across various disciplines, including science, engineering, and humanities.
- Integrated Master's students in their 4th and 5th years.
- Undergraduate students in their 3rd and 4th years studying engineering, technology, or science.
The selection process will focus on a student's academic performance, their research interests, and how well their profile aligns with the available research areas at IIT Palakkad.

Stipend and Benefits
Participants of this summer internship will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 8000, totaling Rs 12000 for the entire program. Additionally, accommodation will be provided, though participants are responsible for their hostel and mess fees. Upon completing the internship successfully, a certificate will be awarded, recognizing the valuable research experience gained.
