IIT Madras Releases Third Admission List for IIT JAM 2024, Check out for more details

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has announced the third admission list for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM) 2024. Candidates who applied for counselling can now check their allotted seats on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in. The deadline to pay the seat booking fee is June 23.

How to Check the Admission List?

To access the admission list, candidates will need their login credentials, including their email ID, enrollment ID, mobile number, registration number, and password. Once logged in, seat-allotted candidates must select one of three options: accept and freeze, accept with upgrade, or reject and quit.

Options for Seat-Allotted Candidates

• Accept and Freeze: The candidate agrees to take the offered seat without seeking an upgrade in subsequent rounds.
• Accept with Upgrade: The candidate takes the offered seat but remains open to higher preferences in future rounds.
• Reject and Quit: The candidate declines the offered seat and exits the admission process entirely.

Joining Schedule for 2024

The joining schedule varies by institute. For example:

IIT (BHU) Varanasi:

• In-person registration by July 18
• Submission of all pending documents by July 19

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad:

• Registration by July 22
• Document submission deadline by September 30
