IIT Madras Introduces World's First MBA in Digital Maritime And Supply Chain

IIT Madras has introduced the first MBA in Digital Maritime and Supply Chain to address the growing demand for global professionals equipped to manage the rapidly changing digital landscape of maritime trade and supply chain management. This 24-month program combines online learning with on-campus immersion modules, offering flexibility for a comprehensive educational experience. Participants will engage with advanced digital technologies like IoT, AI, ML, and Blockchain to tackle contemporary maritime challenges and advance their careers.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks and have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience to apply. The admission process involves an online IIT Madras Admission Test, followed by personal interviews for shortlisted candidates.

Programme Fee

The program fee is INR 9 lakh, payable in installments. Scholarships covering up to 50% of the course fee are available, and the program qualifies for bank loans.

Programme Launch

The first batch begins in September 2024. This course is developed by IIT Madras' Department of Management Studies and Department of Ocean Engineering in collaboration with i-maritime Consultancy.
