The Ministry of Education (MoE) is seeking applications for the position of Director at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be under 60 years of age and possess a minimum of five years of administrative experience and leadership qualities suitable for leading a nationally significant institute. They should hold a PhD with first class or equivalent in a branch of Engineering, preferably, or in exceptional cases, degrees in Science, Mathematics, or Management with an exceptional academic record may be considered.
Additionally, applicants should have at least 10 years of teaching experience as a Professor in a reputable Engineering or Technology institute or university, along with a track record of guiding PhD students.
