IIT Kanpur invites applications for eMasters degree programmes; Know the last date to apply

IIT Kanpur is currently accepting applications for the upcoming cohorts of its eMasters Degree programs in Climate Finance, Business Finance, Fintech, and Quantitative Finance.

According to a statement by the institute, these programs aim to equip finance professionals with the skills needed for the future and to address the increasing demand for competent talent in the finance sector.

The statement further highlights the unique aspect of completing an eMasters degree within a flexible timeframe of 1-3 years, making it an attractive option for working professionals.

The eMasters programs offered include Financial Technology and Management, which combines fintech with traditional finance education. Quantitative Finance and Risk Management focus on enhancing risk management expertise through both research and practical training. Business Finance covers a wide range of subjects including finance and economics. Climate Finance and Sustainability program equips professionals with skills in carbon management and ESG, along with specialized training in finance and environmental sustainability.

Notably, admission to these programs does not require a GATE score. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to visit the IIT Kanpur campus for interactions with peers and esteemed faculty members.

Applications for the July 2024 intake are open until March 31, 2024. These programs are offered by the Department of Management Sciences and the Department of Economic Sciences at IIT Kanpur, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience through live interactive weekend classes and self-paced learning.

Featuring a 60-credit curriculum tailored to industry requirements, the programs also facilitate seamless credit transfers for further education opportunities such as MTech and PhD programs at IIT Kanpur, with the potential to waive up to 60 credits.
