IIT Kanpur C3iHub in collaboration with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) Kanpur and Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Innovation Foundation (CSJMIF), IIT Kanpur recently launched a Cyber Security Vocational Program by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at IIT Kanpur, the Indian Institute of Technology.

Objective of Cyber Security Program:
This six-month program aims to give students the abilities and information needed to succeed in the rapidly expanding cybersecurity sector. System security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security are all covered in this course. Customized labs provided by the Cyber Range at each student's desk are essential to the instruction. Its goal is to equip students with practical experience and information pertinent to the industry, enabling them to pursue lucrative employment in the field of cybersecurity.
Mode of Cyber Security Program:
The course will be delivered online, enabling students access to both practical experience and fundamental understanding. In the meantime, C3iHub will offer a virtual lab for course exercises, technical help desk support for learners, certification of participation and course completion, and the results of all students' final assessments. On the other hand, CSJMU is in charge of ensuring that the program runs well, and CSJMIF will supply the platform. Up to 50,000 candidates are intended to be enrolled in the campaign.
The Official Statement of IIT Kanpur on the introduction of the Cyber Security Course goes like this:
"The six-month program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-growing field of cybersecurity. This course covers system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security. This is a completely online course providing students with both fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience", IIT Kanpur said in a statement.
