The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has officially released the schedule for the IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025. Aspiring candidates can begin registering for JAM 2025 starting September 3, 2024. The application process will be conducted online via the JAM application portal at joaps.iitd.ac.in.

Key Details
The registration window for JAM 2025 will close on October 11, 2024. The examination itself is scheduled for February 2, 2025. This Computer-Based Test (CBT) will encompass seven subjects: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The test will be held across more than 100 cities throughout India.
Application Process
To apply for IIT JAM 2025, candidates should visit the official JAM website, which is typically jam.iitk.ac.in or another URL specific to the organizing IIT. The first step is to register by providing basic information like name, email address, and contact details to create an account. After logging in, applicants will need to fill out the online form, including personal details, educational qualifications, and programme preferences.
Applicants must also upload required documents, such as a recent photograph, signature, and any necessary certificates. The application fee, which varies depending on the applicant's category and the number of programmes applied for, must be paid online using the available payment options. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree or are in their final year of undergraduate studies are eligible to apply for JAM 2025. There is no age limit for applicants. Additionally, foreign nationals holding an Indian degree may apply, subject to the specific policies of the admitting institute.
Candidates who make it to the JAM 2025 merit list will be eligible for admission to approximately 3,000 seats across various postgraduate programmes at IITs, as well as over 2,000 seats at IISc, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT through the CCMN counseling process. These admissions cover a wide range of Master's programmes, including MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree.
