IIT Guwahati recruitment for SRF / RA in department of Chemistry

Walk-in interview is scheduled to be held on 19 September 2016 at 11.00 am in Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati.

For a DST sponsored research project "Modeling anti-TB compounds with the help of advanced computational techniques", SRF-extended / RA positions are to be filled under Ramanujam fellowship.

Eligibility:

SRF-Extended: Ph.D. thesis submitted in the area of computational Chemistry / Physics
RA: Ph.D. awarded in the area of computational Chemistry / Physics

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Gaussian calculations and MD simulations.

At least one first author paper in high impact sci journal in the area of computational Chemistry / Physics is required.

No TA / DA will be paid for the candidates to appear for the interview

Selection will be done on the basis of candidate's performance in the interview
Candidates who fail to meet the eligibility criteria will not be interviewed
