The Open House at IIT Delhi on June 18 aims to provide a platform for female candidates and persons with disabilities who have successfully passed the JEE Advanced 2024. The event will be a hybrid of online and offline sessions, offering participants the opportunity to learn more about the institute, its programs, and its facilities. Registration is now open for those interested in attending and exploring the opportunities available at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Event Schedule and Livestream:
The Open House will run from 9 am to 4 pm. The entire session will be livestreamed on IIT Delhi's official YouTube channel - youtube.com/c/IITDelhiOfficial. This allows prospective students who cannot attend in person to participate virtually.
Participation and Eligibility:
A total of 42,947 female students registered for JEE Advanced 2024, with 41,020 appearing in both papers. Of these, 7,964 students qualified. In the PwD category, 2,465 out of 2,632 registered students appeared for both papers, and 594 passed. Overall, 48,248 students have cleared JEE Advanced 2024, including 179 OCI and seven foreign students.
Organizers and Objectives:
The event is organized by the Initiative for Gender Equity and Sensitisation (IGES) and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE) at IIT Delhi. The Open House aims to promote diversity and gender equity, encouraging aspiring candidates to join the institute.
Interactive Sessions and Opportunities:
Qualified female and PwD candidates will have one-on-one interactions with deans and faculty members from various academic departments. This allows them to clarify doubts about programs and courses and understand academic and career prospects in different disciplines.
Support and Resources:
Prospective students will learn about scholarships, fellowships, and other resources available to support their academic journey at IIT Delhi. They can also interact with current students who will share their experiences of campus life and the supportive community at the institute.
Campus Tour:
Attending candidates will receive a guided tour of the campus. They will explore facilities like the library, hostels, eateries, and other infrastructure that contribute to an excellent learning experience. They will also learn about support systems, accessibility, academic accommodations, and assistive devices offered by the Office of Accessible Education.
