IIT Delhi and JNU Collaborate With MobiKwik for Mobile Wallet Provision for Digital Payments

Trailing towards digital payment modes for fees collection, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi are collaborating with MobiKwik, a mobile wallet provider, for digital payments at the campus. The association will also help college students pay for daily meals and basic amenities at the campus and let them grapple the impact of the government's decision on demonetization.

Mrinal Sinha, Chief Operating Officer - MobiKwik said, "We are proud to support India's leading universities, where students from across the world come to study. Our association will facilitate digital payments for students, making their life hassle-free. MobiKwik having become synonymous with seamless payments, it is our constant endeavour to widen the MobiKwik payments network and help a larger section of people access digital payments."

In JNU there are around 7,304 students studying at the university. Similarly, IIT Delhi is an autonomous and public institution of higher education on technology, catering to around 7,784 students.

With more than 40 million users, MobiKwik has many firsts to its credit, including the service through which users can locate outlets where MobiKwik e-wallet is accepted in the app. Cash loading for mobile wallet through both cash pick-up and cash deposit is also available.
