IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi to Welcome Second Undergraduate Batch in 2025-26

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi - Abu Dhabi (IITD-AD) is set to open its doors to the second batch of undergraduate students in the 2025-26 academic year. With prestigious Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, IITD-AD is rapidly becoming a beacon of engineering excellence in the UAE.

Dual Admission: JEE Advanced and CAET 2025

Admission to these sought-after programs is offered through two pathways:

• JEE Advanced 2025: A gateway for Indian students aspiring to join this global campus.
• Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025: Tailored for UAE nationals, international students, and Indian expatriates who have completed their high school and five prior years of education in the UAE.

The CAET 2025 will be conducted in two sessions:

• Session 1: February 16, 2025
• Session 2: April 13, 2025

This 3-hour pen-and-paper test includes 60 questions equally split among Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates' highest score across the two sessions will be considered for admissions.

Expanding Opportunities in UAE

Since its inception in January 2024, IITD-AD has launched several academic programs, including:

• MTech in Energy Transition and Sustainability
• PhD in Energy and Sustainability
• BTech in Computer Science and Energy Engineering

Seat Allocation and Early Admissions

Of the total available seats:

• One-third are reserved for JEE Advanced 2025 qualifiers.
• Two-thirds are allocated to CAET 2025 candidates.

Test Centers

CAET 2025 exams will be held in:

• UAE: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah
