IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience and demonstrate leadership qualities suitable for heading an Institute of National importance. A PhD degree with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree is mandatory, preferably in an Engineering discipline. Candidates with exceptional backgrounds in Science, Mathematics, or Management may also be considered. A strong academic record and a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience as a Professor in a reputed Engineering or Technology Institute or University, with a track record of guiding PhD students, are prerequisites. Candidates should ideally be under 60 years of age as of the application deadline.
