Eligibility

Educational Requirement

  • PhD programme in engineering: The candidates should have acquired a Master's degree in Technology (MTech) or Master's in Engineering (ME) from a recognised university or institute
  • PhD programme in basic sciences: The candidates must have a Bachelor's of Science (BSc) degree from a recognised university or institute.
  • MTech programmes: The candidates should have obtained a Bachelor's degree in technology or engineering from a recognised university or institute.

The interested candidates can apply through the official website, iitbbs.ac.in

Application fee:

MTech programme:

General and OBC candidates: Rs 300

SC/ST/PwD candidates: Rs 150

PhD programme:

General and OBC candidates: Rs 500

SC/ST/PwD candidates: Rs 250

Selection Process:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance on GATE score card.
