IIT-B Phase I Placement Drive: Highest Salary Package Grabbed INR 3.67 Crore
Phase 1 of the campus placement drive at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) for the Academic Year 2022-2023 has been completed successfully. The institute has received more job offers than ever this year, with the biggest salary package ranging up to INR 3.67 Crore.
According to IIT Bombay, 293 companies worldwide have hired all 1413 of the students who took part in the placement drive. Out of the total offers, 63 came from foreign recruiters, 25 of which were for salaries above INR 1 crore annually.

Students received 71 international offers at the start of the placement session; 1224 offers, including 63 international offers, were accepted by students. Among the recruiters that made offers were American Express, TSMC, Honda Japan, Morgan Stanley, Sprinklr, Reliance, Adani, and Tata.
The highest yearly domestic salary was Rs. 1.31 crore, and the highest annual salary internationally was Rs. 3.67 crore. According to the data, Phase I employees obtain an average yearly compensation of Rs. 23.26 lakh (on a CTC basis). Leading private equity firms like GIC Singapore, Bain Capital, and Elevation Capital made this institution a visit this year.
