Alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, and its students have started a website in order to guide students who are appearing for the Aptitude Test in Engineering. They have made this website in order to ease the pressure of the aspirants as the examination pattern has been changed this time. Now, the whole process is shifted to computer based online exam from written examination.
IIT alumni and its students stepped ahead and made this website so that the aspiring students can get the glimpses of the big game before the main examination. The website is called www.testbook.com, which is designed similar to the real exam interface. It will not only sharpen up the skills of the students but it will also increase the confidence of the students. They have made the site both technically and academically sound so that students get well versed with the latest pattern.
Ashutosh Kumar, ex-IITian from Mumbai who is also the co-founder of the website says "www.testbook.com is an online portal, designed similar to the actual exam interface, which gives GATE aspirants an opportunity to prepare themselves both academically and technically by being acquainted with the current pattern and appearing for more than 30 time bound online tests, and overcome the fear of online examination.
It is completely free and covers all the chapters pertaining to a course. All tests have been carefully designed by GATE toppers, keeping in mind the exam pattern. Practice tests of different time lengths have been provided for systematic preparation and detailed solutions have been provided to brush up and strengthen the concepts".
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination conducted through the constitution of eight zones (7 IITs and IISc, Bangalore).
