IIST Admission 2023; Application Last Date till May 2nd for PG Courses

IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) is a national-level examination. IIST provides a variety of UG and PG courses in space science and technology. Students can obtain admission to IIST through several entrance exams including JEE Advanced, GATE, UGC NET, JEST, and others. The application form for postgraduate courses was made available on April 6, 2023, and will be available till May 2, 2023.

The university will not have an entrance examination for UG and PG degrees. Candidates will be admitted based on national-level examinations such as JEE Advanced, JEE Main, JEST, UGC NET, GATE, and so on.

Application Form IIST 2023

  • Obtain the application form Tthrough online.
  • Visit the relevant organization's official website.
  • Complete the necessary information such as educational information, confidential info, and so on. Add the scanned photo and signature to the form and submit
  • Be sure to make payments using any of the available methods, whether online or offline, whatever is more appropriate for you.
  • Send an electronic copy of the completed application form to the address provided.

Fee for Application

  • The application fees could be paid online.
  • Applicants can pay for their application forms using a debit card, a credit card, or net banking.
  • The application fee is Rs. 600/- for Male, General/ EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates.
  • The application fee for female, SC/ ST/ PWD applicants is Rs. 300/-.
  • Under any circumstances, the application payment is non-refundable.

Eligibility for Postgraduate Courses (M.Tech/MS)

  • Students must have a BE / B.Tech / M.Sc / M.S. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60%.
  • The age restriction is 28 years as of the last date of application submission. SC/ST and PWD candidates would be allowed an age limit.
  • A valid GATE / JEST / UGC NET score in the appropriate area is required.

Counselling and Admission Session

IIST admissions counselling will take place following the release of the rank list. This process will only be completed offline, and candidates must report to the counselling by an individual. Counseling will be organised on several levels, such as seat assignment, document verification, and so on. Applicants for PG courses must attend an interview or a written test. Subsequently, documents will be verified, and candidates will be assigned slots.
