IISER IAT 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Released at iiseradmission.in; Check Seat Allotment Status
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have announced the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result on the official admission portal, iiseradmission.in. Candidates who participated in the second round of the counselling process can now check their allotment status by logging in with their application number and password.
IISER IAT 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Released
Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 2 must complete the admission formalities and accept the allotted seat on or before August 5, 2026. The institute has advised students to complete the process within the stipulated deadline, as failure to do so may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Round 2 Admission Process
The Round 2 allotment has been prepared based on candidates' IAT 2026 ranks, category, seat availability, and preferences submitted during counselling. Candidates satisfied with their allotted programme should log in to the admission portal, accept the admission offer, and complete all necessary formalities before the deadline.
Those who fail to accept the seat or complete the required admission process within the prescribed timeline may forfeit their admission, and the seat will be made available in the subsequent counselling rounds.
IISER IAT 2026 Round 2 Closing Ranks
Along with the seat allotment result, IISER has also released the Round 2 closing ranks for various programmes under the Unreserved (UR) category.
Among the BS-MS programmes:
- IISER Pune recorded the highest closing rank of 715 in the Unreserved category.
- BS-MS (Computational and Data Sciences) at IISER Kolkata closed at Rank 1,199.
The published closing ranks represent the overall admission rank at which seats were allotted during the second round and provide candidates with an idea of admission trends across participating IISER campuses.
