IISER 2024 registration commenced on April 1, 2024. Those aspiring for the BS-MS dual degree programme and BS degree programme (IISER Bhopal) can initiate the registration process and find further details on the official website, iiseradmission.in.

Starting from the academic cycle 2024-2025, all seats at IISERs will be filled through the IISER 2024 entrance exam exclusively. JEE Advanced and KVPY scorecards will no longer be accepted. The deadline for IISER entrance exam registrations is set for the third week of May 13, 2024.

IISER 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Prior to applying for the IISER Aptitude Test, candidates should verify their eligibility. The general eligibility criteria for the IISER Aptitude Test are outlined as follows:
Nationality: Applicants must be Indian nationals or PIO or OCI to apply through the IAT 2024 channel. Non-Indian nationals are eligible to apply only through the IAT channel.

Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination with a science stream in 2022, 2023, or 2024 from a recognized board.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam. Candidates from other categories should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.

Subject Requirements: Candidates must have studied at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

IISER 2024 Aptitude Test

Candidates opting for the SCB Channel are required to participate in the IISER 2024 aptitude test. It is essential for candidates to familiarize themselves with the IISER syllabus and paper pattern 2024 prior to the test. The IISER Aptitude Test 2024 will be conducted as a computer-based examination lasting 3 hours, comprising 60 multiple-choice questions distributed across four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Each section consists of 15 questions. Candidates will receive 3 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

The IISER 2024 Admit Card is an essential document that candidates must bring to the examination centre.
