The Indian Institute of Management (IIMA), Ahmedabad, and FPSB India have announced a strategic partnership to enhance financial planning education and certification in India. This collaboration aims to launch capacity-building initiatives for professionals in financial planning and investment advisory services.

Under this agreement, IIMA and FPSB India will initiate training programs, conduct applied research, and organize workshops on contemporary themes. As part of these initiatives, a workshop on asset allocation and factor models for certified financial planners will be held at the IIMA campus in December 2024. This workshop will focus on discussing factor models and smart beta investing based on experiences from the Indian market.
FPSB India is home to 2731 CFP professionals within India and is part of a global network representing over 223,770 CFP professionals worldwide. This extensive network underscores the importance of such collaborations in enhancing the quality of financial planning education globally.
