IIM Trichy to get Rs 350 cr for building own campus
Tiruchirappalli, Jan 12: IIM-Tiruchirappalli has been sanctioned Rs 350 crore from the Centre for building its own campus, a top official of the institute said.
The campus will come up over 170 acres of land, already allotted to the institution, along Tiruchirappalli-Pudukottai highway, IIM-T Director Prafulla Agnihotri said.
The building complex, which will be completed in two phases, will have classrooms and other requirements including hostels for boys and girls, he said in a statement.
The institution has been functioning from the National Institute of Technology campus on Tiruchirappalli-Thanjavur highway for the past five years.
