The Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) is currently accepting applications for its two-year Executive MBA programme (ExeMBA) for the 2024-2026 academic years. The application process for the programme is ongoing and will continue until March 31, accessible at iimsambalpur.ac.in/executive-mba.

Selection for the program at IIM Sambalpur will be based on candidates' academic qualifications and work experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the personal interview (PI) round, with the final merit list determined by their performance in the PI, academic background, and work experience. Additionally, candidates will need to provide a no objection certificate or consent letter from their employer.

The ExeMBA program is tailored for working professionals and is structured in a blended format, offering a unique opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 50% graduation marks and at least 3 years of professional experience. Live sessions conducted by faculty members will foster interactive experiential learning among participants. The program is delivered through a high-definition, video conference-based virtual classroom (VCR) online platform as well as offline mode. The ExeMBA curriculum is particularly advantageous for individuals with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and those seeking to capitalize on various Government of India initiatives such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, and Start-up India.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional experience is required.

Admission Process

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the Selection Criteria and Personal Interview (PI) Round.
  • The Final Merit List will be compiled considering the Candidate's Overall Performance in the PI, Academic Qualifications, and Work Experience.
  • Submission of a "No Objection Certificate" or "Consent letter" from the employer is required.
