The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, in partnership with the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, recently convened a panel of leading figures in healthcare to engage with participants of its Postgraduate Course in Digital Health and the Executive Leadership Programme for Founders & CEOs of Hospitals. Transforming Healthcare through Digital Innovation
Dr. Sanjay Sood's contribution highlighted the success of eSanjeevani, India's premier telemedicine platform, which has conducted over 3.15 crore consultations to date. He pointed out the escalating demand for professionals well-versed in digital health technologies due to the sector's rapid evolution. This development underscores the importance of the executive programs offered by IIM Raipur and the Academy of Digital Health Sciences in preparing participants for significant roles in this burgeoning field.
The Executive Leadership Programme, especially designed for hospitals with fewer than 300 beds, aims to help these institutions enhance their service scope and become leaders in their regions. Both this programme and the Postgraduate Course in Digital Health are distinguished for their comprehensive curriculum and flexible, self-paced online learning options, coupled with a three-day immersive experience at the IIM campus.
Dr. Ram Kumar Kakani, Director of IIM Raipur, expressed his appreciation for the distinguished speakers and highlighted the institute's commitment, in collaboration with the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, to build capacity among senior professionals. This effort is geared towards reinventing healthcare both in India and globally. "We are honored to have such a diverse and accomplished panel share their knowledge with our students," he remarked, showcasing the event as a pivotal moment in fostering the growth of digital health in India's healthcare landscape.
