Indian Institute of Management Lucknow has partnered FPSB India to introduce a certification program in Financial Planning. This initiative, starting in the 2024-25 academic session, aims to cater to both students and working professionals seeking to enhance their skills in financial planning. FPSB India currently supports 2731 CFP professionals in India and is part of a global network representing over 223,770 CFP professionals worldwide. The collaboration with IIM Lucknow is expected to elevate the standards of financial planning education in India.

Certification Program for Aspiring Financial Planners
The new certification program will blend academic rigor with practical skills, providing a comprehensive education for aspiring financial planners. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the financial planning sector.
Prof. Archana Shukla, Director-in-charge at IIM Lucknow, emphasized the institution's commitment to providing holistic education that equips students with practical skills for today's dynamic financial landscape. She stated, "At IIM Lucknow, we are dedicated to providing our students with a holistic education that not only enriches their knowledge but also equips them with practical skills for today's dynamic financial landscape."
Enhancing Financial Planning Education
This partnership will integrate IIM Lucknow's academic excellence with FPSB India's certification process. The goal is to offer a pathway for obtaining the globally recognized CFP certification, thereby preparing students and professionals for rewarding careers both in India and globally.
Mr. Krishan Mishra, CEO of FPSB India, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration. He said, "We are excited to collaborate with IIM Lucknow to advance financial planning education.
