Eligibility Criteria

The PhD program invites applications from individuals holding a postgraduate degree in any discipline or professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, or Company Secretaryship. Specific eligibility criteria are as follows:

Postgraduate Degree: Minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
Bachelor's Degree (for CA, CS, and ICWA professionals): Minimum of 50% marks.
4-Year Bachelor's Degree: Minimum of 75% marks.

Additionally, Scheduled Castes, Disabled, Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections benefit from a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement. Importantly, there is no age limit for applicants.

Monthly Stipend: Starting at ₹42,000 for the first two years, increasing to ₹50,000 in the subsequent years.

Selection Process

Candidates must submit their applications online through the IIM Kozhikode website before the January 31, 2025 deadline. Final selection will weigh 30% on the candidate's profile and 70% on performance during the interview.

Admission Test: How to Qualify

Applicants need a valid score from any of the recognized tests (CAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE, UGC NET) from the past three years. However, those without these scores can take the IIMB Test, managed by IIM Bangalore. Specializations in Economics will require additional tests and interviews.

On-Campus Residence and Duration
