IIM Kozhikode Announces 17th Batch of Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has launched the 17th batch of its two-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), specifically designed for working professionals. This flagship programme aims to enhance managerial competencies, refine techniques, and cultivate the essential management acumen needed for successful careers.

The EPGP is a comprehensive and intensive two-year blended learning experience aimed at professionals seeking career advancement. It equips learners with skills to strategize, identify business opportunities, understand global economic trends, and navigate challenges in an evolving ecosystem. The programme has achieved notable recognition, making three consecutive appearances in the prestigious QS World University Rankings.

IIM Kozhikode has also received global recognition from AMBA, EQUIS, and Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship Centre support through IIMK LIVE.

The previous cohort (2023-2025) set a record with the highest-ever enrolment for its Executive MBA, comprising 619 candidates from diverse educational backgrounds, including Architecture, Fashion Technology, Medicine, Management, Chartered Accounting, Arts, and Mass Communication. These candidates brought industry experience ranging from 3 to 25 years, with over 50 percent aged 30-39. The cohort represented various sectors such as IT, Engineering, Consultancy, Petroleum, Healthcare, Supply Chain, FMCG, Automobiles, Banking, Aerospace, and Education. Notably, 24 percent of the batch were women learners.

Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, commented on the launch of the 17th batch, stating, "As we launch the 17th batch of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management, our objective is to nurture leaders who epitomize integrity and character. The MBA programme uses a comprehensive pedagogy, including lectures, case studies, simulations, and projects delivered through an Interactive Learning platform, totaling 750 hours of classroom instruction. The programme includes three weeks of on-campus modules led by distinguished faculty and industry experts, covering subjects such as international business, corporate accountability, operations, and human resources. Successful completion of the programme grants learners prestigious IIM Kozhikode Alumni status, providing access to a network of over 13,000 alumni.

Candidates interested in the programme must undergo a rigorous selection process, which includes the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) and a personal interview. Alternatively, applicants may submit CAT, GRE, or GMAT scores from within the past three years.
