IIM Kashipur introduces One year PG Course in Hospital Management

IIM Kashipur, also known as the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, has introduced a new one-year postgraduate executive program in Hospital Management tailored for seasoned doctors and healthcare practitioners. This initiative is a collaborative effort between IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare.

The primary objective of this program is to cater to the growing demand for adept professionals within the Indian healthcare domain who possess the requisite skills to efficiently oversee hospitals and healthcare establishments.

The curriculum of the program encompasses a comprehensive amalgamation of theoretical frameworks, practical case studies, and exposure to industry practices, thereby equipping participants with a profound understanding of the healthcare sector.
The inaugural batch of the program consists of 10 practicing doctors and 15 healthcare professionals hailing from various backgrounds and geographical locations such as Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nepal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, among others. These individuals are affiliated with diverse private and government hospitals.

This pioneering initiative aims to furnish participants with essential skills for effectively managing hospitals and healthcare facilities, while simultaneously addressing the increasing need for skilled professionals in the Indian healthcare sector. This collaborative effort comes at a juncture when the government is placing emphasis on expanding healthcare infrastructure and executing public health initiatives.
