At the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Calcutta, first-year MBA students have successfully obtained an average monthly salary of Rs 1.65 lakh during their summer internships. The institute's students demonstrated excellent accomplishment despite the difficult market conditions, highlighting their talent and commitment in the corporate world.
On October 18, IIM Calcutta successfully completed the summer internship placement cycle for first-year students, obtaining 513 offers for the school's premier two-year MBA program's 466 registered students.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday, despite ongoing financial difficulties, the students received a record-breaking average stipend of Rs 1.65 lakh per month, with the median stipend reaching an amazing Rs 1.7 lakh per month. The highest domestic stipend reached an astonishing Rs 3.75 lakh per month, according to the figures, while the top 25% of the batch received an average stipend of Rs 2.31 lakh.
IIM Calcutta proved its steadfast dedication to its motto of "leaving no one behind" by promising jobs to everyone who took part in the placement process, as mentioned in the announcement.
