IIM Calcutta Listed In The QS Masters in Business Analytics Rankings 2019

IIM Calcutta has been featured in the QS World University Rankings: Masters in Business Analytics Rankings 2019. This is the first time IIM Calcutta participated in the rankings. A total of 75 Masters in Business Analytics (MSB) institutes got places in the 2019 rankings.

MIT Sloan School of Management from the United States has successfully defended its first position. The Massachusetts-based management school achieved a perfect score in the three of five indicators. MIT is followed by the Imperial College of Business School from the United Kingdom and Texas (McCombs) from the United States.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) of IIM Calcutta has shared the 14th place with NUS Business School. IIM Calcutta achieved an overall score of 65.6. The score of the ranking indicators are as follow.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)

The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) is offered jointly by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and ISI Kolkata. The main aim of the program is to shape the emerging profession of business analytics. This is a two-year full-time residential diploma programme. The course is designed for those who have an analytical mindset, are interested in tackling challenging business problems, and possess an inclination towards mathematics.

The features of the course include teaching by reputed faculty members, hands-on business analytics training at a related company, continuous interaction with industry leaders throughout the course, and the availability of placement opportunities.
