The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has closed the final placement process for the batch of 2014.
IIM Ahmedabad has not revealed the achievement of the placements yet.
The placement process for the batch, which consisted of 378 students, was conducted in two stages.
The first was the lateral placement process, where companies interviewed students with work experience and offered them mid-level managerial positions.
The second stage was the final placement process, where companies were grouped into cohorts based on the profile offered, and groups of cohorts were invited to the campus in different clusters.
According to IIM A officials, half of the students in the batch were eligible for lateral placements.
Over a 125 companies participated in the placement process in 2014.
Accenture Strategy Consulting is the biggest recruiter which has offered 18 jobs. Likewise BCG had offered 15 jobs, Amazon has offered 15 jobs and HSBC has offered 9 jobs.
