IIIT Hyderabad Special Channel Of Admission For B.Tech Without JEE Main, Apply Before May 10

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has invited applications from the willing candidates interested in pursuing B. Tech Program at the Institute. A Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) has been announced by IIIT Hyderabad for its B. Tech programs. SPEC is aimed towards identifying students with extraordinary talent or background. There are 10 seats each in B. Tech Programs for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The interested candidates can apply before 10 May 2021.

Eligibility

The candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. The candidate must have qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE or should have studied at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) or enrolled in an integrated, 6 year, 12th+B.Tech program currently.

Exam

The IIIT Hyderabad will conduct a Computer-based entrance examination on 02 June 2021. The candidates need to appear for the exam which will be based on subject proficiency and the syllabus is based on 11th and 12th level of Physics, Maths, and Chemistry.

The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview based on which the candidates will be selected for the program.

The eligible candidates should visit the official website of IIIT Hyderabad www.iiit.ac.in. The candidates need to fill in all the required details along with the relevant documents and apply online. The candidates should pay an application fee of Rs. 500 and take a printout of the application form for future reference. The application portal will remain active till 10 May 2021.
