The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially commenced the application process for its July 2024 session. Students seeking admission to various Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes can now submit their applications online.

The deadline for completing the IGNOU July admission form is set for June 30, 2024. This opportunity extends to a variety of programmes including master's, bachelor's, postgraduate diplomas, diplomas, postgraduate certificates, and certificate programs.
Applicants can access the registration portal through two official websites:
ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. IGNOU has a clear refund policy for applicants who decide to cancel their registration. Candidates who withdraw their application before admission confirmation are eligible for a full refund of the program fee. If a cancellation is made within 15 days following admission confirmation, the university will issue a refund after deducting Rs 500. For cancellations occurring within 16-90 days, Rs 1,000 will be deducted from the refund. It is important to note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations made beyond 90 days from the cancellation notification.
Procedure for Application
To apply for the IGNOU July 2024 session, candidates need to follow a simple four-step process:
- Visit the official website: ignou.ac.in.
- Find and click on the link for IGNOU July 2024 Admission on the homepage.
- On the new page that appears, select the link for the ODL programme.
- Complete the application process by providing the necessary details and paying the application fee.
- Applicants are advised to download and print the confirmation page of their IGNOU July 2024 Admission for future reference.
In case of any discrepancies found in the IGNOU 2024 registration form, candidates have the option to make specific changes using their login credentials. However, requests for alterations to the registration form are only permissible before the admission deadline in June 2024.
