The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has expanded its academic offerings with the introduction of 13 new programs across various disciplines. This expansion includes four MBA courses in emerging fields, highlighting the university's commitment to providing contemporary and industry-relevant education.

New MBA Programs
IGNOU has launched the following specialized MBA programs:
- MBA in Construction Management
- MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- MBA in Agribusiness Management
- MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management
These programs are designed to cater to the growing demand for skilled professionals in these dynamic sectors. The MBA in Healthcare & Hospital Management, for instance, is tailored for graduates with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates as per Indian government norms).
Additional New Programs
Apart from the MBA courses, IGNOU is offering several other programs:
- PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology
- PG Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
- MA in Geeta Studies
- Certificate Programs in Early Childhood Special Education
Admissions for the MBA in Construction Management have begun. This two-year course, offered by IGNOU's School of Engineering and Technology, is conducted entirely in English. The fee structure for this program includes ₹15,500 per semester, with an exception in the third semester where the fee is ₹17,500 due to an eight-credit project component.
