The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for re-registration for all programmes offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode for the January 2024 session. The new deadline is now July 15, as opposed to the previous date of June 30. Eligible students can apply for ODL programmes on the official IGNOU website: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Documents Required for Application
Applicants must have the following documents while applying for courses:
- Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)

Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to applying for IGNOU programmes, eligible students can also apply for Government of India Scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in after their admission is confirmed.
By extending the re-registration deadline, IGNOU aims to provide more students with the opportunity to enroll in their desired programmes and ensure that no eligible student misses out due to the earlier cutoff date.
