The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially released the exam form for the December 2024 Term-End Examination (TEE). This form is now available for students enrolled in both Online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs.

Eligible students can submit their exam forms via the official IGNOU website; exam.ignou.ac.in. The Term-End Examinations are scheduled to commence on December 2, 2024.
IGNOU December TEE 2024 Exam Schedule:
As per the official announcement, the Term-End Examinations for both ODL and online programs will begin on December 2, 2024. The exams will be conducted in two formats: pen-and-paper and computer-based test modes. The online application process, which includes submitting exam forms, projects, and practical exams, is now live for all eligible candidates.
Important Dates and Fee Structure for Examination Form Submission:

- Date: September 9 to October 15, 2024
- Fee Structure: Rs 200 per course (Theory and Practical/Lab)
- Date: October 16 to October 31, 2024
- Fee Structure: Rs 200 per course (Theory and Practical/Lab) + Rs 100 late fee
Additional Fee Details for New Students:
For students who were admitted from January 2023 onwards, the fee structure for practical and project submissions is as follows:
- Examination Fee: Rs 200 per theory course
- Practical Fees: Rs 300 per course (for up to 4 credits) or Rs 500 per course (for courses exceeding 4 credits)
- Project Fees: Rs 300 per course (for up to 4 credits) or Rs 500 per course (for courses exceeding 4 credits)
Guidelines for Filling Out the Exam Form:
IGNOU has issued detailed instructions for students filling out the exam forms. Those awaiting results from the June 2024 TEE should still submit their forms before the deadline to avoid complications later.
Special Instructions Have Also Been Issued for Specific Groups:
- Jail inmates must submit their exam forms to their respective regional centers, as they are not permitted to take exams at regular centers. Exams will be conducted within jail facilities.
- International students should contact the Director of the International Division for assistance with form submission and exam-related queries.
- For students registering for practical or lab courses, including the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program, it is advised to contact the respective regional center for information on exam venues and schedules.
Exam Center Allocation:
The university will make every effort to allocate exam centers based on students' preferences. However, if a preferred center reaches full capacity, students will be assigned to an alternate center within the same regional jurisdiction.
