IELTS Scholarship from British Council

IELTS Scholarship Award is being offered by the British Council to study undergraduate or postgraduate programmes for students in an English-speaking country at a known education institution. Indian students are qualified for this scholarship. The British Council IELTS Scholarship Award was initiated to support Indian students who aspire to study in an English-speaking country.

Eight IELTS candidates will be awarded 3 lakh each towards the tuition fees' expenditure.

To be eligible for the scholarship the following must be met:
*You must be a resident and citizen of India
*You must have recently taken IELTS test with the British Council
*Your minimum overall score must be 6.0
*A valid letter of acceptance or offer letter must be produced, which is given from a recognised education institution which accepts IELTS as part of its criteria
* Must have begun an undergraduate or postgraduate programme in the academic year of 2013 outside India.
