ICSE Class 10 Geography Paper Leaked

ICSE - Indian Council for Seconadary Education is conducting its class 10 exams. On March 11 the exams held were History, Civics and Geography. Its astonishing to hear but the pre-board question paper of Bombaya Scottish School in Mahim which was held on January 9th i.e. almost 2 months before the actual board exam was almost same.

Parents and Students say that 90% of the ICSE Geography paper was same as the schools pre-board paper. Many of the parents suspected that the paper was leaked. They appealed the school prinicipals to look into this matter.

 

After providing assurance to the parents ICSE board gave a statement that no re-examination will be held for the Geography paper. Statement was published on the BOard's career portal for school managements and principal of affiliated schools, undersigned by Arathoon,

The statement said "This is to inform you that a preliminary examination has been conducted by the council in the matter of the ICSE 2015 Geography examination and it has been decided that there will be no re-exam. A fact-finding committee shall be constituted to conduct a detailed investigation in the matter."

The statement failed to give insight whether the allegation of paper leaking was true or not.

Parents and students were dissappointed by the response given by ICSE board, they fell it is not fair to 1.6 lakh students appearing the exams. This is the second paper leak come out in open,setting an alarm for our education system.
