The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, in collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for granting of 150 Fellowships in Biomedical Sciences (microbiology, physiology, molecular biology, genetics, human biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, immunology, pharmacology, nursing, zoology, botany, environmental sciences and veterinary medicine) and Social Sciences (psychology, sociology, home, science, statistics anthropology, social work, public health/health economics) through direct recruitment.

The online application process towards same starts from on April 27, 2020 and closes on May 27, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for JRF posts through ICMR JRF 2020 must have attained 19 years and not be more than 28 years of age as on September 30, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC) and 5 years (SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates) respectively a detailed in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 1,500 (Gen/OBC/EWS) and Rs. 1,200 (SC/ST) respectively as application processing fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through Challan mode as specified in the notification.
