ICAI CA Foundation & Intermediate Result 2025: Know How to Check the Result

Today, March 4, 2025, marks an important milestone for thousands of aspiring Chartered Accountants as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is has announced the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate results for the January 2025 session. Candidates who have been eagerly awaiting their scores can access their results using their registration and roll numbers on the official ICAI website.

Where and How to Check Results?

To check their scores, candidates should visit icai.nic.in, where the ICAI will publish the results along with a list of top performers and their percentages. The steps to retrieve results are as follows:

Visit icai.nic.in.
Click on the 'Inter' or 'Foundation' result link.
Enter your registration number, roll number, and captcha code.
Click on 'Submit' to view your score.
Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

Exam Details

The CA Foundation exams were conducted on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025, while the CA Intermediate exams spanned from January 11 to January 19, 2025.

To qualify for the CA Foundation exam, candidates must secure at least 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% across all four papers. For the CA Intermediate exam, the requirement is at least 150 out of 300 marks per group, with a minimum passing mark in each subject.

Revaluation & Verification Process

ICAI provides candidates an opportunity for revaluation or verification of scores in case of any discrepancies. This verification window ensures transparency and allows candidates to seek reassessment if necessary.

Previous Results & Pass Percentage

The November 2024 session results were announced on December 26, 2024, with a pass rate of only 13.44% for both groups, highlighting the rigorous nature of the CA exams.
