ICAI CA Exams 2021 Postponed For Intermediate And Final Due To COVID

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the Chartered Accountant (CA) 2021 May examination for the Intermediate and Final Course. Institute has taken the decision after the surge of COVID-19 positive cases across the country. Institute is reviewing the pandemic situation and revised exam dates will be announced at least 25 days before the start of the examinations. Candidates who are aspiring for the examination are advised to keep visiting the official website to check the new CA May 2021 exam dates.

ICAI tweeted, "Important Announcement regarding Postponement of the ICAI Chartered Accountants Examinations - Final & Intermediate Course which are scheduled to be held in May 2021 in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic."

The official notice reads, "In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of welfare & well - being of students and to mitigate their hardships, it has been decided to postpone the Final and Intermediate Chartered Accountants Examinations which are scheduled to commence from 21st (Final) / 22nd (Intermediate) May, 2021 across the globe."

It also reads, "However, situation of pandemic will be reviewed (COVID cases, MHA guidelines, Centre and State Government directions) and fresh dates will be intimated to students. While doing so, a notice of at least 25 days will be given before the start of the examinations. The Candidates are advised to note the above and stay in touch with the website of the Institute, www.icai.org."

Earlier, the ICAI has announced for Chartered Accountant (CA) 2021 Intermediate and Final exams for May/ June session. The CA exams scheduled to begin from May 21 to June 30. However, the exams were postponed in the interest of the welfare and well being of students. Aspirants are advised to stay in touch with the ICAI's website for the latest updates.
