The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has commenced the online application process for 884 scale-1 officer vacancies under the Common Recruitment Process for Specialist Officers (IBPS SO 2024). Interested candidates can apply online at ibps.in. The application deadline is August 21, 2024.

The registration process for IBPS SO 2024 has begun, and candidates must submit their applications by August 21, 2024. Additionally, the Institute has also started the registration for 4,455 Probationary Officers vacancies (IBPS PO 2024).
The recruitment drive aims to fill 884 scale-1 officer positions in participating banks. The vacancies are distributed as follows:
Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS SO 2024. The age limit is set between 20 and 30 years as of August 1, 2024. This means applicants should be born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2004.
The educational qualifications vary for each post and can be checked in the detailed notification on the IBPS website. Additionally, candidates must maintain a healthy credit history as per the criteria of the participating banks.
"Those candidates whose CIBIL status has not been updated before the date of joining have to either get the CIBIL status updated or produce NOCs from lenders stating there is no outstanding with respect to accounts adversely reflected in CIBIL," stated IBPS.
The application fee for IBPS SO 2024 is ₹175 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates and ₹850 for all other categories. Candidates can refer to the exam notification on ibps.in for details on exam patterns and other information.
