The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for probationary officers. Candidates who are willing to appear for the entrance examination can visit the official website of IBPS to check the tentative dates and selection process.
According to the official notification released by IBPS, the preliminary examination will be conducted in the month of October. A total of 20 banks are participating in the Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees.
IBPS has stated in the notification that the commencement of the online registration process begins on August 14, 2018. The last date to submit the application is September 4, 2018.

Steps To Apply For The IBPS PO
Step 1: Visit the official website of IBPS - www.ibps.in
Step 2: Click on the CRP PO/MT link on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 3: Click on the relevant link to start the registration process (starts on August 14th)
Step 4: Fill the mandatory details.
Step 5: Pay the application fee.
Step 6: Upload your passport size photograph and signature.
Step 7: Click on submit.
Step 8: Take a print out of the application form for further reference.

Aspirants have to appear for the online preliminary examination, which will be held between October 13 and 21, 2018. After passing the preliminary examination, candidates have to appear for the main examination scheduled on November 18, 2018.
Candidates who qualify for the next round will be called for an interview which will take place in January/February 2019. However, the provisional allotment will be in April 2019. Aspirants are advised to regularly keep in touch with the official website of IBPS for details and updates.
