IBPS PO 2026 Vacancies Jump to 7,565: How This Boost Changes Your Exam Odds
IBPS has raised IBPS PO 2026 vacancies again on August 27, reaching 7,565. The cycle opened with 6,715 posts on July 1. It moved to 7,365 after the July 20 update. More seats typically steady cut-offs and widen options. Serious candidates gain slightly better odds this cycle.
UCO Bank added 200 posts on August 27. Earlier, Indian Bank introduced 650 posts in the July round. Union Bank of India has not reported yet. Category totals now stand at 3,017 UR, 2,069 OBC, 1,161 SC, 741 EWS and 577 ST.
IBPS PO 2026 vacancies: before and after totals
Before this revision, eight banks accounted for 6,715 seats. Bank of Baroda led with 1,900. Canara Bank followed with 1,500. Bank of Maharashtra contributed 1,100. Indian Bank added 650 and UCO Bank added 200. The tally is 7,565, while Union Bank remains not reported.
