IAF Recruitment 2020 For 256 Commissioned Officers Through AFCAT 2, Register Online From June 15

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian citizens (Men and Women) for filling 256 Commissioned Officers post in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT- 02/2020) scheduled on September 19 and 20, 2020. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from June 15, 2020 onwards and closes on July 14, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Commissioned Officers post through IAF Recruitment 2020 must have attained 20 years of age and not have exceeded 24 years (Flying branch) and 26 years (Ground Duty) as on July 1, 2021 with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as applicable.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 250 as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc.) mode or any other mode as applicable. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry and Meteorology Entry are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Commissioned Officers post through IAF Recruitment 2020 must have passed Intermediate/10+2/Class XII or equivalent with 50% marks each in Maths and Physics, and completed their Graduation (any discipline) or B.E/B.Tech Degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum of 60% marks from recognized University/Institution as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Commissioned Officers post through IAF Recruitment 2020 will be done through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT- 02/2020) scheduled on September 19 and 20, 2020 and AFSB testing.

Candidates selected to Commissioned Officers post through IAF Recruitment 2020 will be paid an emolument as per the 7th CPC norms.
