IAF Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For Airmen Posts in Group ‘X’ And ‘Y’ Trades Before July 15

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications from unmarried Indian nationals (male) for filling numerous vacancies to the post of Airmen in Group 'X' And 'Y' trades through direct recruitment. The registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from July 01, 2019 and closes on July 15, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for Airmen posts through IAF Recruitment 2019 must be born between July 19, 1999 and July 01, 2003 with 21 years as the upper age limit as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 250 as examination fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc payment gateways) mode or through Challan mode at any Axis Bank branch.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Airmen posts through IAF Recruitment 2019 must have passed 10+2/HSC/Intermediate or equivalent in any stream (Mathematics, Physics and English for Group X trades); Diploma in engineering (any stream) with minimum 50% marks (aggregate) and 50% marks in English from a recognized Board/Institution listed as COBSE member as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Airmen posts through IAF Recruitment 2019 will be done through an Online Test, Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test, Medical Examination and Document Verification.

Candidates selected for Airmen posts will be paid an emolument in the following scale:

Group 'X' Trade (Except education Instructor): Rs. 33,100 per month

Group 'Y' Trade (Except IAF(S) & Musician): Rs. 26,900 per month
