The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), under Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, has released an advertisement, invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and interested candidates for filling 400 vacancies to the post of Drivers through direct selection on contract. The offline application process towards the same started on January 2, 2020 and closes on January 27, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Driver posts through HRTC Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not have exceeded 45 years of age as on January 1, 2020, with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as applicable.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 300 as application processing fee in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) favoring the concerned authority specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Driver posts through HRTC Recruitment must have passed Class 10/Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board/Institute, and possess a valid HTV Licence with three years of Driving experience as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Driver posts through HRTC Recruitment will be done through Shortlisting, Preliminary Driving Test and Document Verification.

Candidates selected to Driver posts through HRTC Recruitment will be paid an emolument of Rs. 8,310 per month.
