The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced major reforms in the examination pattern for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2026, aiming to enhance fairness, transparency, and uniform assessment standards across the state.

According to the official notification, Class 10 annual board examinations will be conducted from March 3 to March 28, 2026, while Class 12 board examinations are scheduled from March 3 to April 1, 2026. In addition, practical examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 will take place earlier, from February 20 to February 28, 2026, across all affiliated schools in Himachal Pradesh.
